Therapy can be quite difficult. Having a safe environment to talk about and process life's difficulties is so very important, and it takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life. If you are ready to take that step I'm here to support and empower you.

You can expect me to patiently walk with you through whatever difficulties you are facing and help you learn more about yourself, respect your uniqueness, and invest in your emotional well-being. I will hold space for you. I believe in the power of creativity to help us heal and grow. I offer virtual sessions either by video or phone.

My areas of specialty include trauma, women's issues, anxiety, relationship challenges, substance abuse disorders, PTSD, and working with the LGBTQ+ population.

Therapies I primarily utilize are CBT and EMDR. I

am delighted to support you in being wildly self-expressive, joyful, and connected to your deepest self. I am excited to work with you to help you experience the greatest things that life has to offer you. Let us work together to make it happen!

While navigating life's various stages and stressors we can find ourselves feeling overwhelmed and isolated, resulting in a storm of emotions, thoughts, and engagement in both effective and ineffective behaviors. While working together, I prioritize establishing healthy and good relation, while also maintaining a safe and creative space, where clients can feel secure and supported while stretching into the sometimes-uncomfortable feeling of growth and change.

My therapeutic interests and specialties include supporting individuals navigating the following: trauma, PTSD, grief/loss, anxiety, ADHD, depression, mood disorders, transitional or adjustment related stress, substance use, and interpersonal relational stress. I work with all stages of the lifespan including: children, adolescence, young adults, adults, and elders/older adults. I offer individual, couples/marital counseling, and family counseling services. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as my foundational wheelhouse while also integrating concepts from dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, art and music therapy, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing (MI).

I am trained in MI therapeutic practices and have obtained a Clinical Addictions Certificate from WMU's SPADA program.

Teaching self-advocacy and supporting individuals leaning into their own unique voice, is both a privilege and honor that makes my walk in counseling with you all the more exciting. I am blessed to be able to hold space for each of my client's unique stories, while helping to carry the lamp as you walk your unique journey.

As a counselor it is my goal to create a safe, collaborative, and supportive environment where individuals feel comfortable sharing their struggles, and empowered to reach their goals. I provide therapy for adolescents (11+) and adults.

I utilize a holistic approach to counseling that considers the whole person including emotional, psychological, physiological, and other environmental factors to help you create and reach your individual goals. I offer support, guidance, and structure so that clients can feel empowered to discover personalized solutions within themselves.

I believe counseling is not a one-size-fits-all experience. I utilize Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support people with anxiety, depression, body image struggles, disordered eating, and life transitions. I am also committed to helping clients build healthier relationships with food, body, and the people in their lives.

As your counselor it's my goal to hold space for you and support you in creating a life you are proud of. Therapy can feel challenging and uncomfortable at times, so as your counselor I want you to feel safe enough to express your thoughts, feelings, and concerns with me. I hope to build a therapeutic relationship based on mutual respect and trust.s here.
